I think I can safely speak for those of us that love the show, that Bob May will be sorely missed. Without his tremendous contributions in the way of his performance of the Robot, the show would not have been as fun and charming as we fondly remember it! For those of you who have not heard the news elsewhere, already, Bob May passed away over the weekend on Sunday, January 18, 2009. More information can be found in this article from Yahoo and this one from the New York daily News.

I think I can safely speak for those of us that love the show, that Bob May will be sorely missed. Without his tremendous contributions in the way of his performance of the Robot, the show would not have been as fun and charming as we fondly remember it! We can, however take solace that Dr. Smith and the "Bubble-Headed Booby" are re-united.
