Notes
Gillis wrote a feature film version of "Adventures of Superman" (1952) TV series in 1957 called "Superman and the Secret Planet." The script was never produced.
In the late 1960s, Gillis co-wrote (with William Welch) a pilot script called "No Way Out" for producer Irwin Allen's proposed TV series version of Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (1967). The script was never produced.
Other TV shows for which Jackson Gillis wrote include Zorro (starring Guy Williams), Lassie (starring June Lockhart), The Wild Wild West, Land of the Giants (an Irwin Allen production), Wonder Woman and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
It is interesting to note that the episodes "My Friend, Mr. Nobody", "The Magic Mirror", "A Day At The Zoo" and "Princess Of Space" all feature the character of Penny Robinson. The episode "Space Beauty" is one of the few episodes to give Judy a prominent role.
